Rick Murphy, MAI, SRA, has worked in real estate in the greater New Orleans area since 1984. In 1991, he founded Murphy Appraisal Services, LLC, a full-service appraisal firm with offices throughout Louisiana.

A state-certified general real estate appraiser in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, and Texas. Mr. Murphy also has a real estate brokerage license in Louisiana. He holds the MAI and SRA designations from the Appraisal Institute. He previously served as head of the New Orleans Sub Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and a member of the Regional Ethics and Counseling Panel and the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

Mr. Murphy attended Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Louisiana State University. His hobbies include golf, hunting, fishing, and travel. Mr. Murphy and his wife Lori live in Covington.  They have two grown daughters.
